Barbara Elizabeth Alward of Richfield Township, age 87, died Friday March 30, 2018 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at the family plot in Richfield Union Cemetery. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Barbara was born in Levering Michigan on December 31, 1930 the daughter of the late: Robert & Susie (Scott) Spencley and had resided in the Davison area most of her life.  She was joined in marriage to Robert Alward on March 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2008. She leaves her children; Jackie & Wendell Leland, Tom & Colleen Alward, Dennis & Sheila Alward, and Kelly Alward.  Also surviving are her  loving thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, her sister Gertrude Taylor and brothers; Don Spencley, Allen Spencley, and Gary Spencley.
