Arthur Zdenek of Davison, age 87 passed away Wednesday February 3, 2010 at Brian's House Hospice in Davison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday February 8, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Burial in St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Arthur will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of service. Those desiring may make contribution to St. John Catholic Church or Brian's House Hospice. Arthur was born in Flint, Michigan March 21, 1922 the son of the late Charles & Bertha (Rokos) Zdenek and had resided in the area for many years. He was joined in marriage Lois Fromwiller June 6, 1942 she preceded him in death July 16, 1995. Arthur was member of St. John Catholic Church and Davison VFW #4087. Surviving are children: Dennis & wife Jane Zdenek, Pamela Price, Randy & wife Cheryl Zdenek, Melissa & husband Tony Goodwin, and Jeff Zdenek; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many other relatives.
