Arnold Dean Shaffer of Millington, formerly of Davison, age 86, died Wednesday June 17, 2020 at Fischer Senior Care Center, Mayville. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in Arnold's memory to the Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Arnold was born in Kent County, Michigan the son of the late; James & Amy (Miller) Shaffer and had resided in the Davison area most of his life and relocating to Millington the last twenty years. He was joined in marriage to Cindee Ude on December 4, 1982. He had been an active member of the Lions Club for fifty years. Arnold was employed by General Motors Truck & Bus Division for almost thirty-four years retiring in 1992.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Cindee, daughters; Lou Ellen (Julian) Fetcher, Suzanne (Dave) Droscha, Nancy (Nathan) Blackmore, his eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
