Obituary

Annette Lois Ogg "Grandma" of Atlas Township age 84 died at Ascension-Genesys. Honoring her wishes her body has been donated to the University of Michigan Medical School.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Friday June 28, 2019 at the Faith Lutheran Church 12534 Holly Rd. Grand Blanc, MI Pastor John Kassen officiating with private burial on the family plot at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Annette's memory to Fenton Adopt A Pet, or Genesee County Agriculture Society.

Annette was born October 8, 1934 in Goodrich, Michigan the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (McNeil) Moore and resided in the Atlas Township area since 1946. She was joined in marriage to Robert "Bob" Ogg 1952, and he preceded her in death in 2003. Annette was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1952, a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc, and also a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ortonville. She had been a 4-H Club Leader since 1952, and a participant in the Genesee county Fair since 1947 including exhibitor, Fair Board Member (Secretary), and superintendent in many areas of the fair grounds. She was Homemaker of the Year in Genesee County in 1993, and Fair Exhibitor of the Year 2012. Annette also was Michigan Certified Nurseryman, Genesee County Advanced Master Gardener, served on the Genesee County 4-H Endowment Association, and was active with the Goodrich Schools while her children attended there.

Annette proudly served as an EMT on the Holly Ambulance Service, and had been employed by Bordines Garden Center and Burpee Garden Products retiring in 1988.

Surviving are children; Susannah & Bruce Easton, Joann & Steve Listwak, Patricia & Grant Boomer, Robert V. Ogg, and Thomas & Rita Ogg. She also leaves her twelve grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with one on the way, her very dear friends Judy Wallace, Dale Springsteen, and Ferne & Roger Renwick.
