Anne Marie (Zankl) Munns of Davison age 83, died Saturday May 9, 2020 at the Cottages of Davison. Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday May 13, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery, Linden Michigan. Rev. Thomas P. Wachterhauser officiating, due to CDC Guidelines and social distancing the family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon till 6:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home, the family understands those who may or may not want to join them and they respect their decisions. Those desiring may make contributions in Anne's memory to the Jack Abernathy Park, Davison.

Anne was born in Fenton Michigan on August 30, 1936 the daughter of the late William and Rebecca (Bird) Zankl and has resided in the Davison area since 1959. Anne graduated from Fenton High School and the University Of Michigan School Of Dental Hygiene and it was during this time she meet her husband. She was joined in marriage to Dr. Blair G. Munns on June 30, 1957 and together they enjoy their dental practice in Davison for forty-five years.

Anne felt strongly to give back to the Davison Community after her retirement. She gardened at Jack Abernathy Park, local memorial gardens, and the Davison Country Club. She was active at the Flint tennis Club and served as a supervisor for the Flint Jr. Golf Program for over seventeen years. She was a active member of the Davison United Methodist Church, and volunteered for over twenty years in the Spiritual Care Dept. at Genesys Hospital.

Surviving is her husband of over sixty-two years, Dr. Blair Munns, her sons; Paul and wife Janet Munns, and Jim Munns. She also leaves grandchildren: Britney and husband Austin Thrasher, Hannah Munns, Jonathan and wife Abbey Munns, and her great grandchildren Jentry, Ellie, and Keelan. Also surviving is her brother Bob Zunkl and extended family and friends.

The family is grateful for the excellent care extended by the Doctors and Staff at the UM Medical Center and the care and compassion given by the staff of the Cottages of Davison.
