Amanda Hilda Willson of Richfield Township, age 88, died Saturday April 4, 2020 at the Pines of Burton. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. A private burial will be held at the family plot in Flint Memorial Park.

Amanda was born in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Alfred & Hildegard (Hager) Hesse and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Charles 'Chuck' Willson on November 7, 1959 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 2015. Amanda was a graduate of Flint Central High School. She was a member of the American Business Women Association and had been an active member of the Davison VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Amanda retired in 1985 from General Motors, AC Spark Plug Division, with over thirty-eight years of service.

Surviving are children: Maxine Beutler, Anna Willson, Lisa Morse & Mike, and Charles and wife Amy Willson.  She also leaves her grandchildren; Milissa and husband Marty Block, Christina Beutler, Kristopher and wife Savannah Morse, Ethan and wife Kristine Willson, Tonya Holmes, Stefanie Morse, and her great grandchildren; Taylor, Gavin, Quinn, Jake, David, and Lyndon; great great grandson Clayton. She is preceded in death by grandson Devon Morse, brother Bernard Hesse, son-in-laws; David Morse, Clif Beutler, Doug Frink, and twenty-four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
