Allie "Al" Hider of Goodrich age 69, died Saturday July 28, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac. A celebration of his life will be at 10:30 am Thursday August. 2, 2012, at the Hansen Funeral Home 421 N. Main St. Davison. Burial in Ottawa Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm Tuesday and 1-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Al was born in Newburgh New York on December 31, 1942 the son of the late: Hussine & Alice Hider spending his early life in the Detroit area and Goodrich since 1977. He was joined in marriage to Lynda Goodwin and she preceded him in death in 1993. Answering the call of his country Allie served in the US Air Force, and was a life time Mason. He was employed by the City of Detroit as a Police Officer until his retirement in 1995. Al was presently employed by the Hansen Funeral Home. Surviving are children; Bob & Susan, Jeff & Hanan, Greg & Samira, Mike & Asmahan, Dan & Nichole, and Leigh & Don. Sixteen grandchildren; Brothers Phil & Janan Hider and Jimmy Hider. Sisters Jamileh & Nasrat Haidar, and Naimeh & Nabil Haidar. Brother-in-law John Mounir Haidar, sister-in-law: Mona Hider, and a host other relatives and friends.
