Alice Joyce Pringle, of Davison, age 78, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 29, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11: 00 am Saturday September 3, 2011 at the Davison Missionary Church 1481 N. Gale Rd. Davison, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and the service at 11:00 p.m. Pastor Chris Glantz officiating, with burial in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors on Friday September 2, 2011 at the Hansen Funeral Home from 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Alice was born in Port Huron Michigan October 3, 1932. She is the daughter of Corliss & Edna (Streeter) Thornton and has resided in the Davison area since 1967. She was joined in marriage to Evan Pringle February 1951. Mrs. Pringle was a member of the Davison Missionary Church. She was an avid bowler at Rollaway Lanes and Bowl and Richfield Lanes, and had worked for many years at the IMA. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Judy and Jerry Beaty, son, Dale and Shelly Pringle,son-in law, Dan Andersen. 12 grandchildren: Michelle Davis, Michael Bruce, Andrew Sumner, Eric Pringle, Desi Pringle, Dustin Kaley, Devon Kaley, Angela and Rich McLaren, Rita and Steve McLaren, Malisha Andersen, Kevin and Dezarae Andersen, Renae Andersen. 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Brother; Ray and wife Martha Thornton, sister -in –law, Josephine and husband Lynn Reed, sister-in-law, Irene and husband Clayton Beattie, uncle Robert Hall and wife Ann, several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
