Alfred B. Jaco Jr. of Genesee Twp. Age 66 died Saturday August 9, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday August 13, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Martin B. Watkins officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Al's memory to the family care of Hansen Funeral Home. Alfred was born in Portland Maine on April 18, 1948 the son of Alfred B. & Emma F (Smith) Jaco. Alfred was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Answering the call of his country Alfred served in the US Navy and continued his career in the Military retiring in 1992. Surviving are sons, Jason & wife Samantha Jaco, Alfred B. "Bud" & wife Melissa Jaco, five grandchildren, father Rev. Alfred B. Jaco Sr. sisters: Carolyn Jaco, Mary & husband Roy Speer, Connie & husband Milton Green, Dawn & husband Eric Brown, and a host of other relatives.
